Being part Native American and a great fan of science fiction were two key aspects that drew and kept my interest in the novel Renegade World. For me it was a quick read as it really held my interest throughout. I particularly liked the action scenes, battles, Olympic games, etc.
The descriptive writing truly brought them to life. Including a link to the dictionary will eliminate any potential confusion with the native and hybrid language. I especially liked the detailed background on the characters. The native names were sometimes long, confusing and complex but again the link to the dictionary will help eliminate any confusion. I feel that using such names lends authenticity to the story.
At the end it was obvious that there are more stories to tell. I enjoyed this novel immensely and I await the sequel!

I myself am not a big Sci-Fi fan, yet G.D. Patten's book "Renegade World" kept me going until the very end with its colorful dialogue, plot intrigue, and unique twist on an alternative history. You definitely yearn to lean more in this "Dances With Wolves" Native American warriors meets "Avatar" superhuman species. Check it out-A Sci-Fi must read!
